NBN has advised they will be performing software upgrades on equipment in the Fixed Wireless network in Queensland, performing signal alignment and a software upgrade to the Baseband board. This upgrade enables 5G configuration and capacity enhancement. These will result in an impact on Fixed Wireless services on the following POIs (Point of Interconnect):
Rockhampton and Toowoomba
Fixed Wireless services on these POIs will experience a brief outage during the indicated outage window, no impact to other technology types is expected. Any services impacted should recover automatically once upgrade works have been completed.
