Civil team have completed excavation and cable is visible.
The Fibre team have identified a OH&S issue which may cause the excavated area to collapse.
Civil works will brace the excavated whole to remove the OH&S obstacle.
ETA to complete the bracing is 2-3 hours.

Update:
The carrier has advised root cause of break has been identified due to 3rd party performing directional drilling in area with break located underneath a concrete driveway.
Carrier civil team is on site with excavator and cutting of concrete has commenced and progressing well with aim to be complete by 14:00 AEDT.
Our upstream provider has advised there has been a fibre cut in Sydney that has impacted a number of services on their upstream network.
Services have been redirected within our network, however some latency may be experienced as a result.
The carrier has identified the site of the cut and is organising civil works to reach the impacted area.
