Our upstream carrier has advised they will be performing restorative works on the infrastructure (fibre backbone) providing the main backhaul link for nbn Internet services to Queensland that was damaged on 25/05/2023.
The upstream carrier has advised that fibre splicing needs to be completed on the backhaul cable providing QLD nbn Internet services.
4G backup services should remain online throughout the outage window.
There is no to minimal impact expected on services, but notice is being posted due to the possible risk.
The highest priority has been allocated to bringing any impacted services back online within the shortest possible timeframe.
Services may experience some downtime during the outage window. Any impacted services should recover automatically once the restorative works have been completed.
