We have identified an issue affecting our VoIP (Hosted PBX) services in Queensland. We are currently investigating and will have another update shortly. We apologise for the inconvenience.
We have been advised that the upstream carrier's team has completed the splicing of the replacement aerial fibre cable. We have seen impacted services come back online. The outage has been resolved. If you are still offline, please reboot your equipment and call our support team if this does not resolve your connection. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We are seeing the majority of QLD nbn services have been restored. We are waiting for official confirmation of the splicing works being completed. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide any updates as they are made available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Update from the upstream carrier: the outage has been caused by a fibre break across a major road. The carrier civil crew are on-site at the break site and has run a temporary section of cable across the road and expects to begin splicing at 13:00 with a current ETA of 15:00 for completion.
The upstream provider has identified that a core 600 GB backhaul fibre has been cut/damaged. Crews are currently onsite and working on repairing the fibre. Work is being done on rerouting traffic where possible to alternative links. Further updates are to be provided as they occur. Apologies for the inconvenience.
There is currently an issue impacting NBN services in Queensland. The issue is being investigated at the moment and we hope to have it rectified very shortly.
Please note, NBN Enterprise Ethernet customers are not impacted by this outage.
